Cultivation Magic World entered Steam Early Access on December 31, 2025, and DMG Studio has maintained a very high pace of development ever since. Across 35 recorded updates, the studio has been continuously expanding the game's content: new realm areas have been unlocked (Divine Realm in January 2026, Dao Realm in February 2026), new systems added (item trading, pet mechanics, equipment crafting improvements), and on August 20, 2026, the most recent major update unlocked a new "Hell" game mode — a significant content addition. The update frequency has been sustained across many months, spanning from January 2026 through August 2026. The game remains in Early Access, consistent with a product still being actively built out. No statement suggesting development is winding down has been made.
