Cursed 2

Cursed 2 is a free-to-play horror/action game that originally launched in April 2019 and has continued to receive updates since then. On August 18, 2023, the developer shipped a significant update converting the game to widescreen and adding an unlockable Extras mode. Before that, on August 1, 2023, the developer had teased this update as coming soon — and delivered it shortly after. In March 2024, the developer posted an update announcing that community volunteers are actively working on translations of Cursed 2 into multiple languages (French, German, Italian, Ukrainian, Russian, Portuguese, and possibly Spanish), with the developer working to figure out how to deploy these as Steam branches. That same post mentions plans for Cursed 3 "once the new content is finished," suggesting the translations (and potentially other new content) are still being treated as work in progress for Cursed 2. However, the developer has not posted any communication since March 25, 2024 — more than 15 months of silence as of June 2026. The translations were described as in progress but their status remains unconfirmed. It is unknown whether this content has shipped, stalled, or been quietly abandoned. The developer's irregular posting history (only 3 posts across the game's lifetime on Steam) makes it difficult to establish a normal cadence, but the gap since the last post is substantial and the announced work remains unresolved.
