Evaluation
Daemonologie is a short folk horror narrative game that launched on October 1, 2024 as a complete, self-contained experience. The store description explicitly describes it as "a short folk horror story" and notes that its narratives are "designed for playing in a single sitting, multiple times to get the full picture" — language that strongly positions this as a finished, intentionally compact product rather than one expecting post-launch content additions.
The only DLC is the official soundtrack, released on October 23, 2024, and offered for free as a thank-you to players. No additional game content DLC has been announced or listed.
Since launch, the developer has shipped several minor patches: a bug fix improving Steam Deck video compatibility (October 13, 2024), a volume slider addition (November 19, 2024), and fan-contributed translations in Russian, Ukrainian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Spanish (February 28, 2026). These updates reflect the developer maintaining and improving the existing game rather than adding new story content. There are no developer posts announcing future expansions, sequels, or additional content for the game.
The game launched as a complete product, the soundtrack rounds out the release, and all subsequent communications have been maintenance-oriented. There is no indication that further content is planned.
Evidence
The only DLC is the official soundtrack, released free on October 23, 2024 as a thank-you to players. No game content DLC exists or has been announced.
Store description positions the game as a short, self-contained folk horror story designed to be played in a single sitting multiple times, rebuilt and expanded from a 2020 jam original — language consistent with a finished product rather than one expecting ongoing content.

About this game
Daemonologie is a short folk horror story influenced by the Scottish witch trials of the late 1600s. From the developer of Symphony of Seven Souls.
You play the role of a witch finder who has been summoned to the small Scottish village to uproot the witch that resides there. You must speak to the locals and sort their truths from their lies. If they are not willing to communicate then you have permission to employ further methods of persuasion.
At the end of each day you will experience prophetic, stop-motion style nightmares. While cryptic, they may provide you with some hidden truths.
It is recommended to take notes as you go as the game will not hold your hand or lead you in your investigation. The choices you make will be all yours.
