Dark Prospect launched version 1.0 on March 5, 2023, graduating from over 2.5 years of Early Access. In the 1.0 launch post, the developer (Michael, solo dev at CashcowGames) stated that reaching 1.0 meant the game was "in a stable state with all features and polishing done," while noting that development would not completely stop and that bug fixes and possible new features could still come. Following 1.0, the developer shipped two feature patches: Update 1.0.2 on April 8, 2023 (balancing and AI improvements) and Update 1.0.3 on July 12, 2023 (smaller fixes and improvements). There have been no developer communications of any kind after July 12, 2023 — now nearly three years of silence. No DLC has been announced or listed. No roadmap or future content promises exist beyond the 1.0 launch statement's general openness to future updates. Given the developer's own characterization of 1.0 as a feature-complete, polished release, and the absence of any subsequent content announcements or updates since July 12, 2023, the game is best understood as a finished product. The post-1.0 patches were maintenance and polish work consistent with wrapping up a release, not the beginning of a sustained new content cycle.
