Dead Signal launched on October 20, 2023 with two difficulty modes (Casual and Normal). At launch, the developer explicitly stated that Nightmare difficulty would be added post-launch. That promise was fulfilled on September 19, 2024 with the 2.0 update, which delivered Nightmare mode, a new enemy (The Breather), an upgrade shop, new cameras, additional languages, controller support, Steam Deck compatibility, and numerous other additions. This completed all stated post-launch content commitments.
The most recent news post for Dead Signal (June 23, 2026) is an announcement for a different game — Welcome to the Game III — launching July 16, 2026. This is a new title from Reflect Studios, not additional content for Dead Signal. There are no DLC listings, no roadmaps, and no announcements of further content for Dead Signal. The developer's only post-launch content commitment has been delivered, and the studio has moved on to a new project.
