Death Stair launched on August 16, 2016 and received active post-launch support through late 2016. The developer shipped patches in August and September 2016 addressing feedback from PAX West, and then released one notable content update on November 15, 2016 — the "Clouds" mode, which added a new map and three new weapons for the Gunner role. That November 2016 post is the last recorded developer communication of any kind. No further updates, announcements, or developer posts have appeared since then — a silence spanning from November 2016 through today (June 2026). There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no developer statements about ongoing plans. The game has no DLC listed at all. Given nearly a decade of silence following what appears to be the final content drop, the game is best understood as a complete, finished product that shipped everything the developer built for it.
