Decline's Drops launched on October 10, 2024, and has received two major free content updates since then. The first, which added a Boss Rush Mode and Time Attack mode, arrived on December 19, 2024. The second, called the "Shoes & Mirrors Update," launched on July 25, 2025 and added a new playable character (Que Sera), a brand new world with four stages and a unique boss, bonus stages, and color alternates for characters. At the time of that second update, the developer explicitly stated: "More free content is still coming though, so stay tuned for more news!" The developer has continued to post patch notes after this update, with the most recent communication on August 8, 2025. On January 19, 2026, the developer announced a new game (Dash'n'Drops) set in the same universe, demonstrating the studio is alive and active. The developer has maintained a clear pattern of free post-launch content additions since launch, and has directly communicated that additional content remains planned.
