Deep Space Cache launched on November 15, 2024 as a short casual idle/incremental game. Following launch, the developer shipped a rapid series of patches and balance updates throughout November and into December 2024. On December 12, 2024, the developer published Update #22 and explicitly stated "That's it for the updates" and "That's pretty much it for this game," confirming that active development has concluded. Only silent bug fixes may occur going forward, but no new content is planned. The developer has since moved on to a second game, Keyclash, which launched on June 5, 2025.
