Delta Force: Xtreme 2 launched on June 18, 2009 as a complete, standalone tactical shooter with 10 single-player scenarios, over 20 weapons, multiplayer modes, and a level editor. The game was designed as a finished product from the start, with no post-launch content cycle, no DLC, and no developer communications about additional content. The only news post on record (August 28, 2023) is an announcement of a separate, next-generation game in the franchise — Delta Force: Hawk Ops — and does not reference any updates or new content for Xtreme 2. NovaLogic has made no communications about further development of this title. The game is a complete package as shipped in 2009.
