Demonheart: Hunters launched on January 28, 2020 and received a substantial content update (v2.00) on January 19, 2024, which expanded the word count from 85,000 to 94,000+ words with new areas, NPCs, quests, and companion dialogue. That update addressed the developer's outstanding obligations to this specific game, and no further updates to Hunters have been announced since. The developer's February 28, 2026 post mentioned a new game set in the Demonheart world was in development, with plans to set up a Steam page for it soon. However, that refers to a separate, upcoming title — not additional content for Demonheart: Hunters itself. A new game in the same universe is not a content commitment for this game. Demonheart: Hunters stands as a complete, self-contained release with no announced future content of its own.

About this game

The young rogue Bright has a demon heart which gives her supernatural powers. She is both blessed and cursed, for her heart makes her a target for the demonheart hunters. She must discover who is hunting her and turn the tables on them, while a certain half-demon is plotting to start the Apocalypse. On her journey, Bright reunites with old allies and meets new allies and enemies. The trouble is, in this world it's often difficult to tell them apart.
