Desktop Defender

Desktop Defender launched on November 4, 2025 and has received an exceptionally active stream of major content updates from the developer (Conradical Games). Named major updates that have shipped include: the Rebirth Update (January 19, 2026), the Skin Update (February 16, 2026), the Critical Update (March 9, 2026), and the Forge Update (June 8, 2026) — averaging roughly one major update every 4-6 weeks. On June 25, 2026, the developer announced the next named update — the Harmony Update — describing specific planned additions including Mac support, Discord rich presence, friend leaderboards, more loot, more skins, and more achievements. Then on July 24, 2026, the developer confirmed that work on the Harmony Update is ongoing, explicitly stating "we're continuing to work hard on the upcoming Harmony Update for Desktop Defender." This is the most recent communication about Desktop Defender as of today, August 19, 2026. The developer is simultaneously supporting and releasing other games (Card Corner, Wanted Shadows: Unchained, and Desktop Detective, which launches today), but this has not disrupted the pace of Desktop Defender updates. The Harmony Update has been clearly and specifically described, confirming that meaningful new content is actively in development for Desktop Defender.
