Desktop Kanojo launched on April 23, 2020 as a finished desktop mascot application. The developer shipped regular feature patches in the months following launch — adding animation packs, mouse-following behavior, custom model support, multi-monitor improvements, and workshop tools — but none of these rose to the level of named expansions or major content releases. The last developer communication of any kind was a small settings addition posted on December 23, 2022. No updates have been posted since that date. The single DLC listed is a free item that released the day after launch and has long since shipped. The developer's only announcement post (January 31, 2022) promoted a separate new game rather than future content for Desktop Kanojo. There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, no outstanding promises of new content, and no statements indicating active development continues. The update activity tapered off and ceased entirely by December 23, 2022, consistent with a product that has reached the end of its development cycle.

Introduction
This is a desktop mascot, which can be placed anywhere on your desktop to bring more fun to your desktop.
The character has multiple costume transformations and can use mouse click to interact with the character more.
Some parts of the character have physical effects and can simulate shaking when moving.
Characters can move, rotate and scale freely.
Players can also import local custom models to create new desktop partners of their own.
The game supports creative workshops. You can upload and share your favorite models, or subscribe and download others' models to generate your favorite desktop characters.

The black screen solution is as follows:
1. Please open the dvidia panel and select [manage 3D settings] on the left
2. In the right, the options of [multi frame sampling AA (MFAA)] and [smoothing fxaa] are changed to [off]
