Detective From The Crypt launched on June 17, 2021 as a complete point-and-click adventure game. Following launch, the developer issued a bug fix update in October 2021 and released a soundtrack DLC in September 2021 — the only paid DLC for the game, which has since shipped. The most recent developer activity was on July 19, 2024, when BOV added support for seven new languages (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Polish, and Czech). No future content has been announced, no unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and the developer has made no statements indicating ongoing content development. The game appears to have been a self-contained release that has since received maintenance and localization work, but no new story content or expansions. There has been no developer communication since July 19, 2024, which is consistent with a completed product receiving no further updates.
