Evaluation
Detective Hayseed - The Cloning Madness launched on December 12, 2023 as a complete point-and-click adventure. On June 12, 2024, the developer shipped a free add-on that had been previously promised — a bridging story between entries in their Polda series, playable either from the main menu or after the main story concludes. This add-on appears to be the single piece of additional content the developer had committed to delivering. Since that release, there have been no further announcements, roadmaps, or developer communications indicating additional content is in the works. The game's store description presents it as a complete, self-contained experience. With the promised add-on delivered and no signals of anything further planned, the game appears to be content-complete as of June 12, 2024.
Evidence
Developer shipped a promised add-on bridging the Polda 2 and 3 storylines, playable from the main menu or after the main story ends. This was the final piece of announced content.
Store description presents the game as a complete, self-contained classic point-and-click adventure with a defined runtime of 8-10 hours, no mention of ongoing content or future updates.
