Evaluation
Dev Guy is a free-to-play indie puzzle adventure game that launched on May 20, 2015. Within a week of launch, the developer shipped a single update on May 26, 2015 adding the ability to skip certain minigames in response to player feedback. That post also mentioned a new (but different) project in early development.
A November 2015 post noted that data loss from a hardware failure had set back any new project work, with no further mention of Dev Guy itself. The most recent developer communication is from August 13, 2020, where the developer announced a separate, unrelated game (Mean-While) — with no reference to any further content for Dev Guy.
The game launched as a self-contained narrative adventure with a clear beginning and end. The developer has never announced additional content for Dev Guy specifically, and the 2015 "new project" mentioned in the post-launch update appears to have eventually become Mean-While (or another standalone title), not a continuation of Dev Guy. There is no unreleased DLC, no roadmap, and no developer statements suggesting further updates are coming. The game is a complete, finished product as originally shipped.
Evidence
Developer returned after years of silence to announce a separate game (Mean-While), with no mention of Dev Guy or any plans to update it.
Developer shipped a post-launch patch adding minigame skip options and briefly mentioned a new unrelated project in development, but made no commitment to further Dev Guy content.

About this game
Being a developer for games is difficult. It's even harder when you are an indie developer. In Dev Guy, you play the roll of Warren (an independent developer) just trying to get his game on the app store before his game license expires. It sounds simple, but becomes complex quickly when his car goes missing, and his data disappears with it. Will warren get his car back? Join Warren as he tries to retrieve his game data while solving puzzles, hacking other developer's computers, breaking windows, and yelling at his friend Cabe. If you've played classic puzzle adventure games and feel the need for more, this game might be right up your alley. Using the power of the UDK, Dev Guy brings you the most graphically underwhelming game of this year.
