Disco Elysium - The Final Cut is the developer's own explicitly named definitive edition of the original Disco Elysium, which launched on October 15, 2019. The store description opens by calling it "the definitive edition of the groundbreaking role playing game," and the game shipped on March 30, 2021 with full English voice acting, new political vision quests, new characters, new areas, controller support, and expanded language options — all of which were delivered as a free upgrade to existing owners.
Since the launch of The Final Cut, ZA/UM's post-launch activity for this title has been limited to accessibility improvements (dyslexia-friendly fonts in June 2022, a Collage Mode feature in March 2023), additional language localizations (Japanese in August 2022, Arabic in May 2024), routine bug fix patches, and a December 2025 maintenance patch that included a Unity security fix. None of these represent new story content or expansions for the game itself.
The only two DLC items on the store are a Soundtrack & Artbook (December 2019) and a standalone Soundtrack (February 2020), both long released. No unreleased DLC is listed.
ZA/UM's development energy has clearly moved on to their next game: ZERO PARADES: For Dead Spies, announced in early 2026 and released on May 22, 2026.
