Evaluation
Discovery Tour by Assassin's Creed: Ancient Egypt is a standalone educational spinoff of Assassin's Creed Origins, releasing on February 20, 2018. It offers 75 curated historical tours of Ptolemaic Egypt and is also available as a free update to owners of the base game. Ubisoft issued two bug-fix patches after launch — version 1.0.1 on March 22, 2018, and version 1.0.2 on May 15, 2018 — addressing localization issues, animation bugs, and minor polish. No further developer communications, content updates, or announcements have been made after May 15, 2018. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced future content, and no post-launch content cadence to suggest ongoing development. This title launched as a self-contained educational product with a fixed set of 75 tours, and all available evidence points to it having been complete since the final patch in May 2018.
