Evaluation

Disillusion launched its full 1.0 release on August 30, 2021, which added substantial content including multiple endings, new characters, side quests, and combat systems. The developer's post-launch activity has been focused primarily on building a prequel game called Disillusion ST, rather than adding new content to this base game. The most recent update to Disillusion itself — posted on October 1, 2024 — was a small patch (V2) adding some new dialogue and fixes, explicitly tied to the developer's work on the prequel nearing completion. That post noted "more to come soon," but no further updates have followed as of June 23, 2026, nearly 21 months later. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced expansions, and no roadmap for this game. The developer's creative energy has clearly shifted to the prequel (Disillusion ST) and a sequel project announced in April 2022. The game appears to have reached the end of its content life as a standalone release.
