Evaluation

Distancing is a very small free-to-play casual game released on March 17, 2021. By the developer's own description, the entire experience lasts 5–15 minutes and consists of a single self-contained scenario. The only post-launch activity was a minor quality-of-life patch on April 5, 2021 (adding music mute, a skip button, and windowed fullscreen). There has been no developer communication of any kind since that date — over five years ago. No DLC, roadmap, or future content has ever been announced. Given the game's design as a compact, complete experience, it launched as a finished product and received one small follow-up patch before development concluded entirely.
