DON'T LOOK AWAY

DON'T LOOK AWAY launched into Early Access on October 16, 2022, developed by a single developer (Dan). In the first few weeks after launch, updates came rapidly — multiple patches per week adding new features, maps, and gameplay systems. On November 4, 2022, the developer posted a summary of changes since launch and laid out a roadmap of upcoming content, including an abandoned hospital map, a new game mode, UI overhaul, a new mannequin model, and a sound/music overhaul. A final update on November 20, 2022 added a new Shopping Mall map and remade the Neighborhood map. That November 20, 2022 post is the last official communication from the developer. The promised roadmap features — the hospital map, new mode, and other items — do not appear to have shipped. There have been no patch notes, blog posts, or developer statements since that date, representing over three and a half years of silence as of June 2026. The game remains in Early Access with no graduation to a full release, and the developer has not explained the halt in communication or updates. Given the outstanding promises and complete absence of developer activity, the status of this game's ongoing development is deeply uncertain.
