Don't Touch the Snail launched on May 29, 2026. Since release, the developer PlasticBagHandMan has remained engaged: a cross-promotional collaboration with Snail Simulator brought 3 new skins on launch day (May 29), bug fix patches shipped on June 8 and June 25, and a second cosmetic Supporter Pack released on June 26, 2026. All DLC currently listed on the store has been released. The game is a novelty avoidance experience built around a single core mechanic — touching the snail permanently locks you out of the game — with over 50 snail skins and Steam achievements. No future content has been announced, and the developer has not made any statements about long-term plans. The game launched recently enough that there is simply not yet enough history to determine whether more content updates are on the way.
