Doom & Destiny Worlds launched on September 18, 2020 and received a steady stream of paid and free DLC over the following years, all included in the Season Pass: Survival of the Nerdiest and Unbreakable (March 2021), Iron Nerds and Fantastic Quests (February–March 2022), Randomicity (July 2022), Classic (November 2022), and finally Damsels & Dragons (June 30, 2023). The developer explicitly described Damsels & Dragons as "the last piece of DLC and part of the season pass" in the June 2023 release post, and a pre-release patch note from the same month called it "the LAST DLC." All ten DLC entries in the store listing are marked as released, with none outstanding. On May 20, 2025, Heartbit Interactive published an official announcement confirming the studio is shutting down due to economic reasons. The post confirmed that existing games — including Doom & Destiny Worlds — will remain available for purchase, but the studio is no longer able to develop new games. No future content for this title has been announced or is expected. The game is complete, its season pass is fully delivered, and the developer has closed.
