Door Kickers: Action Squad

Door Kickers: Action Squad launched out of Early Access on September 10, 2018. At launch, the developers signaled ongoing ambitions — promising more missions, game modes, characters, and a mission editor. The game delivered on some of those promises: a major free update on October 24, 2019 added a new playable character (the Off Duty Guy) and Chapter 7 – The Slums with 12 new levels, and a paid DLC called "Professionals Abroad" shipped on October 25, 2021, adding 12 missions set in a new overseas theater. All three DLC entries in the store are marked as released — the soundtrack (shipped at launch), the art book (April 8, 2020), and Professionals Abroad (October 25, 2021). No unreleased DLC is listed on the store. The last developer communication of any kind was the Professionals Abroad launch post on October 25, 2021 — now nearly five years ago as of June 2026. There have been no further announcements, roadmaps, patches, or developer posts since that date. The two major post-launch content drops occurred roughly two years apart (October 2019 and October 2021), and more than four and a half years have passed since the last one with complete silence from the studio. This pattern strongly indicates the game has reached the end of its content lifecycle. The game is a complete, finished product.
