Evaluation
DPS IDLE launched on August 21, 2021 as a free-to-play idle card game. All four DLC packs (VIP Pack, Guild Pack, Starter Pack, and Hero Pack) were released prior to the base game's launch in November 2020 and are all available. The developer's post-launch activity has been primarily maintenance patches and bug fixes, with no major content expansions shipped for this game. By June 2023, the developer announced they were working on a sequel — DPS IDLE 2 — and by September 2024, that sequel launched into Early Access on Steam as a separate product. The developer's focus has clearly shifted to DPS IDLE 2. The original DPS IDLE shows no signs of ongoing content development: no unreleased DLC, no announced updates, and developer communications point toward the sequel rather than new content for this title. The game launched as a complete product and has effectively wound down post-launch support in favor of the next entry in the series.
