Dream on

Dream On launched on May 15, 2025 as a free short walking simulator. The developer posted a brief post-launch update on May 25, 2025 adding accessibility options and achievements based on player feedback. On June 8, 2025, the developer published what they called a final polish update, explicitly stating "Now, it's time for me to move on to the next game" — indicating they considered the game complete at that point. However, development did not end there. On November 6, 2025, the developer returned with a localization patch and noted they were "thinking about making a small expansion in the future." This led to the announcement and release of the "Sail On" DLC on February 25, 2026 — a short standalone adventure featuring a paper boat sailing through a dream world. This DLC is now released and listed on the store. There are no unreleased DLC items, no outstanding promises of future content, and no developer communications suggesting further expansions are planned. The November 2025 post described the expansion idea as something they were still considering ("just an idea for now"), and that idea has since been fulfilled by the Sail On DLC. The game now appears to be a complete package, with both the base experience and its one expansion fully available.
