Evaluation
Dreamless launched on October 25, 2024. Following release, the developer added voice acting on November 27, 2024 — a notable post-launch enhancement — and gamepad support via an update on January 19, 2025. Since then, activity has been limited to bug fixes: a mailbox correction on April 29, 2025 and a map fix on July 29, 2025. There are no unreleased DLC listed on the store, no roadmap or announcement of future content, and no developer statement indicating additional expansions or updates are planned. The post-launch news history shows one meaningful content addition (voice acting), one feature patch (gamepad support), and routine maintenance — a pattern consistent with a developer wrapping up a shipped product rather than building toward new content. The game appears to have reached its complete state as of the voice acting update on November 27, 2024.
Evidence
Voice acting added to the game post-launch, the last substantial content addition.

About this game

“When we are sure that everything is unfolding according to our plans, we should wonder whether an invisible puppeteer’s thread is stretched over our heads.”

Every 25 years the town takes teenagers
Every 25 years, “death week” begins here. For seven days, teenagers disappear. The police close the cases. Residents stay home. The disappearances continue anyway. No one knows who is behind it: a person or something else. What is known is who they take — teenagers. John is almost 18, and the week has already begun.
Story
You play as John. He is almost 18. He is an aspiring video blogger: he has a camera, he already films videos, but there is no hype yet.A new “death week” is beginning. His friend Will suggests going into an old abandoned house. A woman who terrified the whole neighborhood used to live there. For John, this is a chance to film a video that will finally get views: a camera, an abandoned house, an urban legend.
He goes inside to film. At first the house is ordinary. Then rooms rearrange, new passages open, things are not where they should be. The shoot falls apart. Instead of hype, he gets something he never planned to show.

Gameplay
First-person psychological horror. You explore the abandoned house, read notes about the missing, search for items and solve puzzles. In the dark, a camera with night mode helps. As you progress, the house changes: a familiar corridor or room becomes different.
