DREAMWILD launched on October 31, 2022 and received a consistent stream of patches and improvements through August 2023, with the developer (going by Karbonic / Finn T.) regularly communicating updates and changes. In multiple posts — including January 2023, March 2023, and most explicitly on August 25, 2023 — the developer confirmed that new content was still actively in development, teasing new worlds, weapons, and enemies. The August 25, 2023 post explicitly stated: "New Content for DreamWild is still in development!" and promised new Dream Wilds, new weapons, and new enemies.
However, the developer has posted nothing since August 27, 2023 — a gap of nearly three years as of June 2026. Prior to that silence, they had maintained regular communication from launch. This extended period without any update, patch notes, or developer communication makes it unclear whether the promised content is still in development or whether the project has been quietly set aside. The announced content has not shipped and no explanation for the silence has been provided.
