Evaluation

DRIFT CE (formerly DRIFT21) launched on June 10, 2021 and has received a steady stream of free content updates and paid DLC over its lifetime. The developer's post-launch activity included multiple free track additions (Haruna in June 2023, Takuya in December 2023) and challenge packs, alongside hardware support improvements. In February 2024, ECC Games announced a planned series of three Toyota car DLCs. All three shipped on schedule: Toyota Supra MK4 on March 6, 2024, Toyota Chaser JZX100 on March 13, 2024, and Toyota Supra MK5 on March 20, 2024. The March 20, 2024 release post explicitly stated "our entire Toyota series is out," signaling that this planned content cycle was fully delivered. All three DLC entries in the store are marked as released, and no unreleased DLC remains listed. The developer has not announced any further content, roadmap, or future updates since the completion of the Toyota series in March 2024 — a period of over two years with no communication as of June 27, 2026. The developer's prior update cadence (roughly every few months for free updates) has not produced any further activity in that window. With all announced content delivered, no outstanding commitments, and no developer communication about future plans since March 20, 2024, the game appears to be content-complete. The completion date corresponds to the release of the final announced DLC.
