Dungeon Exiles launched as a full 1.0 release on August 8, 2024. In the weeks following launch, the developer (Gronkins) shipped several patches adding small amounts of content, balance changes, and bug fixes. On August 22, 2024, Gronkins posted a clear and candid statement alongside patch 1.0.5 explaining that this would likely be one of the final updates to the game. The developer explained that Dungeon Exiles was their first game — built primarily as a learning project — and that they no longer enjoyed working on it. They explicitly stated they do not plan to support the game with new content, classes, quality-of-life updates, or new game modes. A final small bug fix patch (1.0.5.2) was released on September 4, 2024 to address a couple of crash issues, and no further communications have been made since that date. The game is a complete, finished product with no further content planned.

Dungeon Exiles is a roguelike autobattler set in a dark fantasy world. Command the mighty Warrior, enigmatic Mage, or cunning Rogue as you delve into dark, procedurally generated dungeons.
