The developer's focus has since shifted entirely to Dungeon Warfare 3, which launched on August 29, 2025. In the DW3 launch post, the developer briefly mentioned wanting to "give DW1 and DW2 some love as well," but this was a passing remark alongside news about DW3's own upcoming free updates — no specific DW2 content was announced or described. The only DLC ever released for DW2 was the soundtrack, which shipped in July 2018. There are no unreleased DLC entries and no developer commitments to future DW2 content.
