Dungeons of Eternity

Dungeons of Eternity launched on Steam VR on September 11, 2025, porting over from a prior Meta Quest release. Since launch, Othergate has shipped content at a regular cadence: a Halloween-themed update (Stormgrave) on October 25, 2025, a Holiday update (Blizzards and Blades) on December 12, 2025, and a January 2026 feature patch that also added new cosmetic DLC (Avatar Cape Collection 2, released January 26, 2026). The developer has explicitly confirmed ongoing development on multiple occasions. In the January 26, 2026 update post, they previewed the next update as "much bigger," teasing a new game mode, new enemies, and new collectibles. On February 12, 2026, they stated they are "still hard at work on the next major update." Most recently, on June 25, 2026 — the last communication from the developer — they again confirmed that "more information about our next update is coming soon." This makes it clear that a named, promised update is in active development and has not yet shipped. All nine DLC items currently listed are released, and the DLC catalog is primarily cosmetic. The game continues to receive both paid cosmetic additions and free content updates. With the developer actively communicating about an upcoming major update as recently as June 25, 2026, players can expect more content to arrive.
