Efflorescence of Lust launched on February 4, 2020 as a small puzzle and clicker game combining jigsaw puzzles and a clicker mode. Its only DLC shipped on January 30, 2020 — before the base game even released — and no further DLC was ever listed or announced. The game received minor updates through June 27, 2020, after which all developer activity on this title ceased.
The game is no longer available for purchase on Steam. This follows the studio's public announcement: on July 2, 2026, Twilight Sonata Studio stated it would be removing all of its games from Steam, and on July 14, 2026, the studio ran a final "Last Call" 50% off promotion described as the last discount they would ever offer before the games were taken down. The studio's closure is now reflected in the game's store status — it has been removed from sale.
