Eggcelerate! launched on March 30, 2021 as a 30-track time-trial egg delivery game. After launch, the developer shipped a major paid expansion — the Winter Eggspansion — on March 24, 2022, adding 30 winter tracks and new vehicles. In December 2022, a significant update (v1.4.5) converted that DLC into a fully standalone game ("Eggcelerate! to the North Pole"), cleaning up the base game in the process. That same post also announced a sequel, "Eggcelerate! to the Tropics," which was subsequently released on March 30, 2023 as a separate, standalone title. There is no unreleased DLC on the store listing, no roadmap or developer statement indicating future content for the base game, and no post-launch update activity beyond December 2022. The sequel announcement from December 2022 was fulfilled by the March 2023 release of that standalone game. The developer's attention has moved on to sequel titles rather than continuing to update the original Eggcelerate!, which appears to have reached its final state with the December 30, 2022 update.
