ELECTROBASIS launched on March 26, 2024 as a free-to-play adventure game. Shortly after launch, the developer shipped two feature patches in late March 2024 addressing bugs and adding small quality-of-life features. The most significant post-launch update was the Epilogue Update on June 29, 2024, which added a substantial amount of concluding content: a new epilogue level, a new character (Hyssop), a Rat Church location, a playable organ, fan art gallery, group chat segments, a model viewer with character lore, and several other additions. The patch notes for that update include a closing note thanking players for their support and saying "this is a big thank you to all our supporters," and a line about adding social media buttons for players "interested in future projects" — language that suggests the developer considers this game's content arc complete and is looking ahead to new work. No further updates have been posted since June 29, 2024. The only DLC is a voluntary donation item, not additional content. There are no announced future updates, unreleased DLC, or roadmap commitments. The game appears to have launched as a self-contained experience and received its final content with the Epilogue Update.
