Element TD 2 launched on April 2, 2021 and has received a solid post-launch update history, including the Mazing DLC (December 2, 2022) and a series of feature patches and balance updates. The developer explicitly stated in the April 21, 2023 post that Version 1.9 would be "the last big update for Element TD 2," with only hotfixes and localization improvements to follow. However, this proved not to be the final word — the developer subsequently shipped Version 1.9.4 in June 2024 (a significant balance and performance update), followed by 1.9.4.1 in August 2024, and then Version 1.9.5 in September 2025 adding peer-to-peer networking. The December 2025 update (Version 1.9.6) was described as "a small update for the holidays" with engine and balance fixes. Most tellingly, the September 2025 post (NEWS-2) states plainly: "Development is active on our next game... We'll have more to share next year." This is a clear signal that the studio's focus has shifted to a new title. The developer has committed to supporting Element TD 2's regional servers "for at least a decade," but no new content for this game has been announced. The last developer communication was December 13, 2025, and no new content has been planned or teased. The one released DLC (Mazing) is fully shipped. Given the explicit developer statement that major development has concluded and their focus is now on a new game, Element TD 2 is considered content-complete as of the final holiday patch on December 13, 2025.

Let Elements Collide
With 6 elements that combine to create 59 unique towers, you will need to anticipate incoming waves, their elements, and tailor your approach to maximize your defense. Each element has its own strengths and weaknesses, so choosing the right upgrade paths is crucial to winning.
Cooperate To Conquer
Work with up to 8 players to synergize your elemental choices, tower upgrades, and plan your placements. Together you will withstand the enemy assault of ever increasing waves, culminating in an endless boss battle.
