Embers of Magic

Embers of Magic is a short, fully-voiced kinetic visual novel (approximately 30 minutes, 6,262 words) that released on April 6, 2017. The store description and developer communications make clear this is a self-contained story — a prequel set in the same universe as Brilliant Shadows, but not part of a content series in its own right. The developer's post from April 11, 2017 addressed a broken achievement and mentioned the small team's limitations, but made no mention of planned expansions or additional content for Embers of Magic. The studio's most recent post from June 14, 2018 announced a new separate game (Perceptions of the Dead 2) and mentioned plans to do maintenance work on other titles in their catalog — but did not reference any new content for Embers of Magic. There have been no developer communications regarding this game since June 2018, and no DLC has ever been listed. This game launched as a complete, finished product and has received no post-launch content additions beyond a minor bug-fix patch. The last developer communication mentioning this game was on April 11, 2017.
