EndCycle VS

EndCycle VS launched on April 20, 2022 and has received a sustained pattern of major content updates since then. The key post-launch major releases are: a large update adding a new character (Yven), new maps, and new modes on March 13, 2022; the first anniversary update announcing Rollback Netcode and a new character (Saffron) on April 20, 2023, delivered May 20, 2023; a September 2023 feature update adding a new panel type and new VOC attacks; a February 2024 feature patch with new practice/online modes and balance changes; and the "3rd Birthday" 3.0 update on May 7, 2025, which added a new game mode (Coin Mode), 10 new VOC attacks, 9 VOC balance changes, and price reductions. This gives the game seven distinct major content milestones across roughly three years of post-launch life, with gaps between major drops ranging from about one month to about twenty months (the long gap between September 2023 and May 2025 being the most notable). As of today, October 8, 2026, it has been approximately 17 months since the last major update (May 7, 2025). That 17-month gap exceeds the shorter intervals in the developer's history but is comparable to the longest gap previously observed (September 2023 to May 2025, roughly 20 months). In the May 2025 post, the developers noted they had been occupied by a separate unannounced project and framed the 3.0 update as a return to EndCycle VS after a "dry phase" — which suggests the unannounced project may still be consuming development time. They have not issued any statement declaring EndCycle VS development complete. Given that the longest previously observed gap between major updates was approximately 20 months, and that gap was bridged by a major update, the current 17-month silence is approaching but has not yet exceeded the outer edge of the established pattern. No specific future content has been formally announced for EndCycle VS.
