Energy Balance launched on July 2, 2015 as a self-contained number puzzle game. Following launch, the developer shipped a soundtrack DLC on September 15, 2015, released an Android version on September 20, 2015, and continued pushing engine/compatibility updates through July 29, 2016 (Update 23, upgrading to Unity 5.4). That July 2016 update is the last recorded developer communication. No further content, patches, or announcements have been made since then. The sole DLC — the soundtrack — has been released. The store description contains no references to planned future content, seasonal systems, or ongoing updates. By October 2015, the developer had already moved on to promoting a new title, Energy Cycle, on Steam Greenlight. The game shipped as a complete puzzle experience and all post-launch activity has concluded.
