Evaluation

Energy Cycle launched on January 13, 2016 as a complete puzzle game. Both DLC items — a soundtrack and a Collector's Edition content pack — were released on the same day as the game itself, indicating the full package was available from day one. After launch, the developer issued a handful of maintenance and engine updates through September 2017, with the last known communication being a feature patch on September 3, 2017. There have been no major content releases, no announced future content, and no roadmap or developer statements suggesting additional updates are planned. The game shipped as a finished product and has received no post-launch content expansions in its lifetime.
