Evaluation

Enjoy the Diner launched on Steam on July 31, 2023 as an enhanced port of a 2022 game. It shipped with a soundtrack DLC on the same day, and received a second piano soundtrack DLC on November 21, 2023 alongside a feature update adding a piano BGM mode and subtitle display options. Both DLC items are released, and no further DLC has been announced. Most importantly, the developer posted a milestone update on May 13, 2026 explicitly stating: "the story set in Moon Palace has concluded with this title." This is a clear developer statement that the game's narrative content is complete. The post goes on to mention a separate, new project set in an underground city — but that is a different game entirely, not additional content for Enjoy the Diner. Since launch, the game has received quality-of-life and platform updates: Korean language support (April 2024), Mac platform support (July 2025), and a Mac bug fix (November 2025). These are maintenance and accessibility improvements, not new story content. The developer has been consistently communicative and the game remains purchasable with a strong reception. The content of Enjoy the Diner itself is complete as of the November 2023 piano update.
Evidence
Developer explicitly states 'the story set in Moon Palace has concluded with this title,' confirming no further story content is planned for Enjoy the Diner. A separate new project is mentioned but is unrelated to this game.

Features of the Steam version
・Ported to a Different Engine

・Conversations Added
New chit-chats with the other Moon Palace customers have been added.

・New Game Completion Perks Added
Complete the game with a certain ending and you'll be treated to a Sound Gallery and an Illustration Gallery. Why not revisit the drama that unfolded during your time at the Moon Palace?

In the Illustration Gallery, you'll find character descriptions not found in the main game courtesy of creator Gekkan Shicchitai (Oississui)***. Plus, you'll find the sounds used in the game sold separately as a downloadable soundtrack. Be sure to check it out if you liked what you heard.
