Equinox

Equinox is a free-to-play 2D platformer developed by Open Alpha, a student team from USC. The game released on December 3, 2021. The store description presents the game as a complete storybook experience — play as a bunny, collect memories and moon shards, defeat corrupted constellations, and unravel the mystery of a kingdom's ruin. There is no mention of ongoing updates, future content, season passes, or a post-launch content roadmap anywhere in the store materials. There are no DLC listings, no developer communications about planned additions, and no announcements of expansions or updates. Given its origins as a student game project with no post-launch update history and no outstanding commitments, Equinox launched as a finished product.
