Erannorth Chronicles

Erannorth Chronicles launched on September 16, 2021 and received five paid DLC expansions over roughly two years: Ancient Ruins (March 14, 2022), Relics and Armaments (August 29, 2022), Guilds and Secret Societies (December 2, 2022), Untold Tales and Legends (March 6, 2023), and Exalted Heroes of Folkswave (July 17, 2023). All five DLC are released and no additional DLC has been listed on the store. When the fifth DLC launched in July 2023, the developer released an Ultimate Edition bundle and stated "the journey with Erannorth Chronicles is far from over. More content will undoubtedly be on the horizon." However, that statement was made in July 2023 — nearly three years ago as of today (June 17, 2026) — and no new content for Erannorth Chronicles has materialized since. The developer's attention shifted decisively toward a new title: Erannorth Renaissance was announced in December 2023, entered Early Access in July 2024, and graduated from Early Access in October 2025. The developer's ongoing work is clearly focused on Renaissance, not Chronicles. In October 2023, the developer addressed the Unity engine situation and said they could "continue our work" but noted it was "too early" to share details on any next IP or sequel. That ambiguous statement predates the full pivot to Renaissance. The post-July 2023 updates to Erannorth Chronicles have been maintenance-level: bug fixes and modest feature patches like a visual novel system for modders and UI scaling improvements. No new major content has shipped since the fifth DLC in July 2023 — a gap of nearly three years. The developer has not announced any further DLC or expansions for Chronicles, and the promise of future content from July 2023 has not been followed up with any concrete announcement in the intervening period. Given the three-year silence on new Chronicles content, the developer's clear focus on Erannorth Renaissance, and the absence of any announced or listed unreleased DLC, Erannorth Chronicles appears to have concluded its content cycle with the fifth DLC on July 17, 2023.
