Evaluation
Evie is a short, self-described "3 month project" by Chilla's Art, released on February 15, 2018. The store description makes clear this was a deliberately scoped, finite game created by two people in their spare time with no programmer on staff. A minor patch (v1.02) was issued on February 21, 2018, adding small content and quality-of-life fixes shortly after launch.
Since early 2018, the Evie news feed has been used exclusively as a channel to announce new, separate games from Chilla's Art — Stigmatized Property, Inunaki Tunnel, Yuki Onna, The Convenience Store, Missing Children, and Hanako. None of these posts reference ongoing development or updates for Evie itself. The studio's December 2019 Patreon announcement is about funding future projects across their catalog, not any specific commitment to update Evie.
There is no roadmap, no announced DLC, no unreleased content listed on the store, and no developer statement promising further updates to Evie specifically. The game launched as a complete, self-contained horror narrative and has remained so. The last patch directly related to Evie's own content was on February 21, 2018.
Evidence
Developer describes Evie as a '3 months project' made by two people in their spare time, framing it as a finite, self-contained horror narrative with no mention of planned post-launch content.
Chilla's Art releases Yuki Onna, a separate game. Confirms the studio has moved on to new projects rather than updating Evie.

About this game
A girl crashed into a dark forest not knowing where to go, curiosity drives her to open a Pandora’s box that was never meant to be opened.
Evie is a short first-person horror narrative that unfolds a mind-boggling event, set in the middle of an eerie forest that was left undiscovered for good reasons. The story starts off by reading diaries left in an abandoned house by a lady named Evie. As a player, you will quickly realize that great tragedies hit her life and uncontrollably fell into a downward spiral of despair.
This game was a 3 months project made by Yasuka Taira (me) and Kensuke Hayashi (HS student and a student of mine.)
Kensuke helped me write the story (diaries and documents.)
I did all the visuals and designing.
Shoutout to everyone who's helped us :D
Due to my work and Kensuke's school, we were only working on it for 3 hours a day. Some days we just wanted to take a rest :P
Unfortunately, we didn't have a programmer so the game might not be perfect, but we believe we did our best to make it happen.
Hope you enjoy it :D
DISCLAIMERS:
This game might contain disturbing scenes. The characters do not reflect person's life.
