Evo\Wave is a free-to-play 3D platformer created by a team of students as their final academic project. The game launched on March 12, 2021 and received a small flurry of bug-fix patches in the days immediately following release (March 12, 16, and 17, 2021). A news post from March 16, 2021 explicitly identifies the team as students and describes the game as their "final project," which frames it as a completed, self-contained work rather than a live service or ongoing development effort. The only DLC is a free soundtrack, released on March 14, 2021. There have been no news posts, patches, roadmaps, or announcements of any kind since March 17, 2021 — over five years ago. No future content has ever been announced. The game shipped as a finished product, the student team wrapped up post-launch bug fixes within days of release, and no further development activity has occurred since.
