Exit From

Exit From launched out of Early Access on April 16, 2021 and received a steady stream of updates through 2022. Back in October 2021, the developer announced a free "Director's Cut Edition" featuring updated models, a new ending, and various improvements. That promise was later rebranded as the "Enhanced Edition," which would upgrade the game to Unreal Engine 5 — and is still referenced on the store page today, where it explicitly tells players they will receive it for free once available. The developer's most recent communication came on July 18, 2024, when they announced a separate game (Idle Kitties Online) and confirmed that work on the Exit From free remake was still ongoing and planned for release before the end of 2024. That deadline has since passed without any release, patch notes, or further updates. As of September 11, 2026, the developer has been completely silent for over 14 months following that missed target. The Enhanced Edition remains undelivered and the store page still promises it to all players, but there is no indication from the developer about whether or when it will arrive.
