Exoblast launched its 1.0 version on January 31, 2022, at which point the developer (Dreamirl) explicitly stated intentions to continue development — adding content, new modes, and expanding to other platforms. True to that promise, the game received a significant 1.1 update on April 14, 2022, which added a full progression system, over 120 unlockable customization items, a reworked ranked mode, a new server, and additional language support. The last recorded developer communication was a bug fix and database update on June 2, 2022 (version 1.2.0). Since that date — now over four years ago — there have been no further news posts, patches, or announcements of any kind from the developer. The two cosmetic DLC packs (Unicorn Skins and Vampire Skins) were both released on launch day and nothing further has been listed. While the developer had ambitious plans at launch including console and mobile ports, no evidence of any of those materializing has been communicated. The sustained silence since June 2, 2022, combined with no announced upcoming content and no unreleased DLC, points to development having effectively concluded. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product as of the final update on June 2, 2022.
