Fabledom launched out of Early Access on May 13, 2024 with its 1.0 release. The developer followed up with several patches through July 2024, and on July 24, 2024 explicitly stated in their patch notes for 1.06 that it was "expected to be the final patch for Fabledom."
However, the story doesn't end there. On March 20, 2025, the developer reversed course, explaining that player enthusiasm led them to reconsider: "Your enthusiasm and love for the game made us reflect on our decision to stop post-release support and we have not one but two Quality of Life updates coming up!" This resulted in Patch 1.07 (shipped April 17, 2025) and Patch 1.08 (shipped October 16, 2025), the latter adding 30 new decorations along with quality-of-life improvements and fairy-related fixes.
Since the release of 1.08 in October 2025, there have been two hotfixes — 1.083b on January 15, 2026 and 1.084 on February 7, 2026 — addressing bugs and crashes. Neither hotfix contains new content, and no further content announcements have been made. The developer has not indicated any additional updates are planned beyond the two quality-of-life updates they committed to, both of which have now shipped.
The March 2025 post announced exactly two updates; both have been delivered. The post-1.08 activity has been purely maintenance-level bug fixing. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap promises, and no developer statements suggesting further content is in the pipeline. The game appears to have reached its content endpoint with the October 16, 2025 release of Update 1.08.
