Evaluation
Fallstreak is a linear visual novel that launched on October 19, 2018 as a complete, self-contained story. The store description describes a fixed set of content — a specific word count, number of character sprites, backgrounds, event illustrations, and music tracks — with no mention of planned updates, seasons, or additional chapters. The only DLC, a Fan Pack (art/soundtrack bundle), also released on launch day. There have been no content updates since launch. The sole developer communication since release is a post from August 28, 2025 announcing a sequel, Fallstreak 2: Traum — which confirms the original game's story was a finished product and that the developer moved on to a new title rather than continuing to update the original. Fallstreak shipped as a complete narrative experience and has remained so.
Evidence
Developer announced and released a sequel, Fallstreak 2: Traum, on Steam. This confirms that development effort moved to a new title rather than continuing to update the original game.
Store description presents a fixed, enumerated set of content (80,000-word script, 13 character sprites, 30+ backgrounds, 12 CGs, 23 music tracks) with no mention of planned updates or additional chapters, consistent with a complete, self-contained release.
