Evaluation

Family Crush – Season 1 launched on May 27, 2025 as a complete adult visual novel. The developer posted a compliance patch on July 16, 2025 after Steam began removing similar titles, expressing some uncertainty about the game's future on the platform — but the game remained available and development continued. On May 22, 2026, the developer released a free major update called "Rainy Days," adding a new character (the girl next door) with new animations, scenes, music, and gallery content woven across Days 2–4 of the story. The developer explicitly described this update as "a bridge between you and Season Two," confirming that a follow-up season of content is planned. This was reinforced on July 17, 2026, when the developer published a Steam store page for Family Crush – Season 2, opening it for wishlisting. This is the most recent developer communication and makes clear that Season 2 is being actively prepared for release.

Evidence

Developer announced that the Family Crush – Season 2 Steam store page is now live and available to wishlist.

Whether a simple acquaintance grows into a friendship or something more is for him to decide.
