Evaluation

Farm Manager 2021 launched on May 6, 2021 and received a solid run of post-launch content. Two paid DLCs shipped within the first year and a half: the Brewing & Winemaking DLC on September 3, 2021, and the Floriculture DLC on December 8, 2022. A third paid DLC, Agrotourism, also shipped on January 20, 2022. The studio continued to deliver feature patches through 2023 and into late 2024, including a major patch in July 2023, an Autumn Update in October 2024, and a Winter/Holiday Update in December 2024. However, the developer's focus has clearly shifted to their next title in the series: Farm Manager World. This sequel was announced in June 2023, entered Early Access in April 2024, and officially launched at version 1.0 on April 21, 2025. A November 2025 developer post is actively promoting an upcoming Africa DLC for Farm Manager World — with no mention of any new content planned for Farm Manager 2021. All four items in Farm Manager 2021's DLC list (including the soundtrack released in April 2024) are marked as released. The developer has made no announcements of additional content for this title, and communications since 2024 have been focused entirely on Farm Manager World. The last meaningful content update for Farm Manager 2021 was a small holiday decoration patch on December 19, 2024. The game appears to have reached the end of its content lifecycle, with the studio having moved on to its successor.
Evidence
Developer post focuses entirely on Farm Manager World and its upcoming Africa DLC, asking players to nominate Farm Manager World for a Steam Award. No mention of any new content for Farm Manager 2021.

About this game

Welcome to Farm Manager 2021, a relaxing farm simulator in a modern setting where you can casually build your farming estate, inspired by real-world farming. This indie-developed builder game allows you to immerse yourself in farm management and oversee your crops, workers, equipment, animals and production through the changing weather of the seasons. Grow, refine and sell your goods to expand your farm and turn it into a thriving business. Enjoy playing the game through the sandbox, the scenarios or through the campaign.

Play at your own pace and enjoy the farming experience and the beautiful scenery. You decide your goals, whether you wish to build a large successful estate or simply unwind and escape from everyday life.

Acquire and place buildings, hire and train workers, maintain and oversee your crops, animals and equipment through the seasons. Harvest, refine, produce and sell your goods. Set up your logistics and production chains with efficiency, buy and sell at the market, and refine your farm's produce into commercial goods to turn a bigger profit.

With 48 different crops, fruits and vegetables, 15 various animals, 35 machines and over 60 different placeable buildings such as production, warehouses, specialist buildings and decorations, you will have your hands full.

Reap what you sow and make more hay. Sustain and cultivate your farm and watch it grow by increasing the variety of crops and expand your industries with new production lines. Process and refine your products while balancing your economy. Buy more land and use materials from abandoned buildings to expand. Transform your farm from two fields and a pen of chickens into a thriving estate.
